April is set to be another big month. Thanks to a minor gaffe last month (Mrs. Money had an issue with submitting a timecard) part of last month’s big pay will actually carry over to this month, and it didn’t hurt to miss out on last month. This will be a pretty average month in terms of our expenses aside from one major difference. Our utilities and normal monthly bills will all come in pretty close to “average” as I’m hoping that the northeast will actually begin to experience spring any day here now. The added expense I’ve thrown into the “entertainment” category. We should be making some big strides on one of our main goals for the year as this big budget item is to cover paying the 1/2 up front costs for our Airbnb for our stay in Iceland. The total cost of the Airbnb is about $1350 so I’ve added half of that to our usual monthly entertainment budget of $400 even though the money will be taken out of our committed Vacation Fund.
